LIFT OPERATION
DRIVING BOAT ON TO LIFT
BOAT LIFT MAINTENANCE
CABLES
Inspect all cables before each use.
Rinse cables and rest of boat lift with fresh water after each use.
Cable has a limited operating life and may need to be periodically replaced.
If signs of wear or damage appear, replace immediately.
DRIVE UNITS
Keep worm gear, drive gear, and all bearings or bushings greased on a monthly basis.
Make sure to grease all grease fittings on gear plate including fitting located between plate and large gear, on a regular basis.
Make sure pulley belt is tightened.
Check all set screws on bearings regularly.
PULLEYS
Inspect pulleys on a monthly basis for wear.
Make sure all nuts and bolts are tight.
RUNNERS
Runners will need periodic replacement.
Inspect for wear and rotting.
SAFETY
THINGS TO REMEMBER
ALWAYS TURN OFF POWER AT MAIN BREAKER TO PREVENT OTHERS FROM USING YOUR LIFT
KEEP ALL PEOPLE AWAY FROM LIFT WHILE IN OPERATION
DO NOT LET CRADLE BEAMS TOUCH BOTTOM, THIS WILL RESULT IN THE CABLES BECOMING SLACK AND REWINDING IMPROPERLY
INSPECT ALL CABLES AND PULLEYS BEFORE OPERATING
VESSEL MUST BE CENTERED APPROPORIATE TO WEIGHT, NOT LENGTH, TO ENSURE PROPER OPERATION OF YOUR BOAT LIFT
BE SURE TO DISCONNECT DOCK POWER TO BOAT BEFORE OPERATING
REMEMBER TO REMOVE DRAIN PLUG AFTER BOAT IS OUT OF WATER

OPERATION
LOWERING YOUR BOAT LIFT
After inspecting your lift:
(Remember to insert drain plug in your boat)
Turn main power on to your lift.
Lower your lift into the water.
Do not ride in boat while lowering or raising your lift.
Do not let cradles touch the bottom.
Make sure lift and boat runners are clear of boat hull before starting your engine.
After backing your boat off of the lift, we recommend you lift your cradles out of the water.
DRIVING BOAT ON TO LIFT
Lower lift sufficiently so your boat will float over the cradles.
Do not let cradles touch the bottom.
Slowly position your boat over the cradles to desired position.
Use your PVC guide posts to center your boat on the lift.
Raise lift until the weight of the boat is on the wood runners.
Inspect the boat to insure proper alignment.
Make necessary adjustments.
Once the boat is in position, continue to lift the boat for storage.
Do not ride in boat while lowering or raising your lift.
Remove drain plug to prevent excess weight from water accumulation.
Turn power off at main breaker after each use.
